around Asheville

Peaches and I happened upon the other road to Beacon Heights that's not the parkway so we hiked up in the snow :) A giant sloped rock is treacherous enough without having snow on it, but it was still awesome. On the way up though we saw this tree and it looks like it has a head and watches everyone that walks up the trail and, even though the view was pretty, I thought this was way more cool.

We went for a walk through the field behind Andrew's house. It was really pretty, even in the winter with sparse trees, and there were horses that just walked up and chilled with us for a while. I liked this tree because everything is dark against the sky and the little gum balls look like stars.


Andrew took this of his backyard. The sun through the trees made cool shadows on the snow and the snows all smooth and unwalked on. Not many people notice things like that :)
